Pool Remodeling & Pool Construction in Stanton
Stanton is a compact city, and most of its pools have been there a long time.
That’s good news more often than people expect. A well-built gunite shell from the mid-century is frequently still structurally sound — what’s aged out is the interior finish, the tile, the coping, the deck, and the equipment. Replacing those is a very different project, and a much less expensive one, than building a new pool.
PoolMax is based in Fountain Valley, a short drive away. We’ve been doing this work across Orange County for thirty years, and we’ll give you a straight answer about what your pool actually needs.
Pool Remodeling and Resurfacing in Stanton
A pool remodel usually means a new interior finish, new waterline tile and coping, updated decking, and modern equipment — done together or in stages, depending on what the pool needs and what makes sense for your budget.
We resurface in PebbleTec, mini-pebble, polished quartz, and plaster. Each has a different look, feel, lifespan, and price, and we’ll walk you through the trade-offs rather than defaulting to one.
Not every pool needs everything. Sometimes the finish is fine and the equipment is the problem. Sometimes the equipment is fine and the tile line is failing. We look at the whole pool and tell you what actually needs doing, in priority order, so you can decide what to do now and what can wait.
Equipment Upgrades — Often the Best Place to Start
If your pool is still running an older single-speed pump, it’s likely one of the biggest electricity users in your house.
A variable-speed pump runs slower for longer, and because power draw drops sharply as speed drops, the savings are substantial — often paying for the pump faster than homeowners expect. It also runs quieter, which matters on compact lots where the equipment sits close to a neighbor. Add a modern heater and LED lighting and the pool costs noticeably less to run every month.
For many Stanton homeowners, that’s the right first step.

New Pool Construction in Stanton
Stanton lots are generally compact, which makes design matter more rather than less. A well-proportioned pool, an attached spa or a spillover spa with a wet deck, and decking laid out to make the most of the space can transform a small yard.
We work out what will actually fit — including where the equipment can go and how material reaches the back yard — before anything is drawn.

Stanton Pool FAQs
My pool is old. Does it need to be replaced?
Usually not. If the shell is structurally sound, a remodel replacing the finish, tile, coping, deck, and equipment is far less expensive. We assess it and tell you straight.
Can I do a remodel in stages?
Often, yes. We'll tell you what needs doing now, what can wait, and what makes sense to do together to avoid paying for the same work twice.
Is a new pump really worth it?
On an older single-speed system, usually yes. Variable-speed pumps use a fraction of the energy and run quieter.
Is City Hall open on Fridays?
No—Stanton City Hall is closed every Friday. Plan counter visits for Monday through Thursday.
