Fill, Startup & Orientation

Duration: 2-3 days | The moment you have been waiting for

After the interior finish has cured, it is time to fill your pool with water. This process typically takes 1-2 days depending on your water pressure and pool volume. As the water rises, it is a genuinely exciting moment, watching the culmination of weeks of skilled construction come together.

Once filled, a startup technician balances the water chemistry, including pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and sanitizer levels. Proper initial chemistry is essential to protect your new interior finish and ensure the water is safe and comfortable for swimming. Your builder will provide specific startup instructions based on your finish type.

Finally, your builder walks you through a complete orientation of your pool systems. You will learn how to operate the pump, filter, heater, lighting, and any automation features. You will receive guidance on routine maintenance, water testing, and seasonal care.

Your shotcrete pool is now complete. Built from the ground up with engineered steel, high-strength concrete, and professional craftsmanship, it is designed to provide decades of enjoyment for you and your family.

YOUR FIRST WEEKS:

  • Test water chemistry 2-3 times per week initially
  • Run pump per builder’s recommended schedule
  • Brush pool walls weekly during the first 30 days
  • Do not heat above 82F for the first month (finish cure)
  • Contact your builder with any questions during startup
